How TikTok promotion works

Promotion tests ideas; it does not buy a guaranteed hit. Here is what to expect when working with a creator.

What you order when paying per video

You pay for creating and publishing videos to the brief. Views and reactions are not guaranteed. Artificial engagement is prohibited; you can request a review if concerned.

Reach cannot be promised in advance

Recommendations depend on viewer interactions and content. A creator’s followers and past views are a reference, not a forecast for your track.

Views are not yet listeners

Even a popular video does not guarantee streaming visits. Help viewers identify the track and find the full version.

Uneven growth does not prove manipulation

Views may arrive later. Neither a spike nor weak engagement alone proves artificial activity. If concerned, request a review in the order and include evidence.

Preparing your promotion

  • Choose a compelling track excerpt and agree on an idea, leaving room for the creator’s own style.

  • Try different formats and creators whose audiences fit. Multiple attempts still do not guarantee success.

  • Look beyond views: comments about the song, saves, and new videos using your sound.
